The Observatório Estudos Visuais e Arqueologia dos Média is based on the necessity to discuss themes and topics related with the research of the PhD students in visual studies of the ICNOVA - Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of Universidade NOVA de Lisboa. The Observatory aims to develop and share research, as well as scientific and/or artistic works with the academic community and other interested people. To achieve this goal, we plan a program that includes conferences and talks with artists and specialists in visual studies.
